Completion of 'The Dansettes' website

The creation of our band, 'The Dansettes' was a success! We have created a fully working website which incorporates everything we have learnt in our research of band websites, with full social media integration. There are working links to social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter, with other links to iTunes and amazon to purchase the latest album. The website also contains a blog which can be used to update the audience with events involving the bands activities which can only be found on the official website, this creates a sense of exclusivity for true fans who will only find certain information on the official website. Another page of the website shows all upcoming tour dates for fans of the band and another page has been created as a profile for the band members, this page contains information on both members and allows fans to feel closer to the band making them feel like they can relate to the band on a personal level. The website also has a contact page to allow fans to easily send messages to the band, once again emphasising the idea of being close to the band.

We are beginning the second set of filming soon, these scenes will be filmed in the bedroom we have acquired to film in. The bedroom will be used as an 'anchor' for the entire music video, the video will be edited to go back to this location throughout the video. We will require a variety of props such as a record with a record player which is available to us on location as well as an old fashioned 60s phone for the actress to use to talk to her 'friend'.
